Above ground propane tanks
include 120 gallon, 250 gallon, 500 gallon, and 1000 gallon. Above ground
propane tank installations include: the tank, up to 25' of 3/4" gas line,
risers, fittings necessary to connect gas line to tank and one appliance,
regulator (2-stage), concrete pad, and labor to install tank
and gas line per requirement of local governing authorities.
Additional Information About Above Ground Bulk Tanks
Bulk tanks are site filled and therefore the code requires a line of sight
between the tank and the truck that fills it.
The hose used to fill the tanks is 100' long.
Bulk 120 gallon tanks must be a minimum of 5' from building openings and
10' from source of ignition.
In Scottsdale 120 gallon tanks must be a minimum of 10' from building
openings and 15' from source of ignition.
Bulk 250 gallon and 500 gallon tanks must be a minimum of 10' from
buildings and 10' from property lines.
Bulk 1000 gallon tanks must be a minimum of 25' from buildings and 25'
from property lines.
Additional Fire permits (at an additional charge) are required in most
Citys.
